IPES is a bespoke programme tailored to the needs of the participant. The aim is to support them into employment focusing on their strengths, skills and abilities. The programme is designed to support individuals with disability; as well as other complex barriers. We will provide support via consistent contact and intensive support throughout the participant’s journey. IPES offers a holistic approach, with robust in-work support planning too.

Recovery Works is a charity which helps to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society. We offer personalised support to over 1000 people per year, helping them to recover from addiction, improve their physical and mental wellbeing as well as secure sustainable employment.
In Manchester, we have staff based within CGL treatment services working with people with multiple complex barriers such as addiction, mental health, homelessness. Our staff work in partnership with substance misuse services to help people retrain, study, volunteer or find work as a foundation of their recovery.

This means prioritising flexible one-to-one support for individual participants, from guidance on how to write a CV and apply for jobs to bespoke career advice and follow-up assistance once paid work has been secured or resumed.
The Growth Company works with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Transport for Greater Manchester to deliver Our Pass, a membership scheme for young people who live in Greater Manchester. Our Pass gives Greater Manchester’s 16 to 18-year-olds, and care leavers aged 18-21 access to free bus travel and reduced tram travel – as well as exclusive offers and experiences – for a one-off £10 fee.
