Supporting People, Businesses, and Communities in the Liverpool City Region
The Growth Company delivers employment, health, and justice services across the Liverpool City Region. We help people access the right support to expand their skills, improve their wellbeing, and find, stay in, and return to work.
To achieve the best possible outcomes, we work with local authorities, employers, VCFSE organisations, and government departments and agencies, including the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Creating Future Opportunities (CFO).
Our programmes support a wide range of people, including jobseekers, young people, disabled people, people managing physical or mental health conditions, and those facing complex barriers to employment. We also work with employers to connect local people with job opportunities and provide recruitment support.
We deliver services right across the Liverpool City Region, including Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, and Halton. Through partnerships with local commissioners and supply chain organisations, our aim is to deliver inclusive, sustainable growth for people, businesses, and communities.
Aspire Recruitment
Aspire Recruitment is a profit-for-purpose recruitment agency that connects candidates with employers across the UK. Aspire's unique position as part of the Growth Company allows it to access a range of additional services to help candidates and employers, from pre-recruitment courses to qualifications and training for staff.
Connect to Work – Wirral
Connect to Work is a government-funded programme that helps people with more complex barriers to get work-confident, find a job, and stay in it.
Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution
CFO Evolution is a Ministry of Justice programme that works with people in prison and people on probation to reduce re-offending and reinforce the value of leading law-abiding lives. The programme provides a safe space and access to many social, creative and group activities, as well as tailored support.
In-Prison Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
IAG helps people in prison to take steps towards employment. It also offers resettlement support as people approach release and reintegration into the community.
Personal Wellbeing Services
The Growth Company's Personal Wellbeing Service works with people on probation to build resilience, confidence, and positive self-image. The programme is delivered in community venues across the North West and Yorkshire and the Humber, with the option to participate online if preferred and appropriate.
Recovery Works
Recovery Works supports some of the most vulnerable people in our society as they recover from addiction and take steps towards a life away from substance dependency.
Restart Scheme
Commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions, the Restart Scheme provides up to 12 months of enhanced support to help people find a job in their local area. The Growth Company delivers the Restart Scheme in the North West on behalf of G4S.
United for Ukraine
United for Ukraine is a coalition of business stakeholders from across the North of England supporting Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK. The initiative is focused on a digital platform, created by the Growth Company, which connects employers with evacuees.
