  • Community-based organisations are invited to express an interest in supporting the delivery of Manchester's new Worklessness Programme.
  • The contract will help residents facing health, disability, and other employment barriers to find and stay in work.
  • The Growth Company is looking to work with trusted groups that have strong local connections and specialist expertise.

The Growth Company is inviting community-based organisations in Manchester to register expressions of interest to help deliver a new Worklessness Programme across the borough.

The contract has been commissioned Manchester City Council, with delivery expected to run from April 2027 to March 2029.

The programme will support residents facing various barriers to employment, as well as people at risk of falling out of work due to health conditions or disabilities.

The overall aim is to help more access the support they need to move into and stay in work.

We're particularly interested in hearing from locally embedded organisations with strong community links and experience supporting people with health, disability, wellbeing, or wider employment issues.
