The delivery of the IAG service is tailored to support prisoners with asset-based development plans, complimenting other prison activities (education/workshops etc.). The service is an ‘end to end’ process covering the offender right from Induction to pre-release resettlement activities and their planned and coordinated release:
We deploy several tools (inclusive of the ‘Employment Hub,’ job seekers centres within each prison) to clearly identify the offenders needs, helping them to decide on an achievable employment pathway (including provision of up-to-date and relevant Labour Market Information & provision of our own specialist job broker). We also work closely with partners/employers, ensuring other resettlement needs (housing, substance misuse etc.) are addressed holistically.
