Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Yorkshire Activity Hubs

CFO Yorkshire Activity Hubs provide a safe space where people on probation can engage in a range of social, creative, and group activities while accessing relevant support. Their dedicated teams help individuals overcome barriers in areas such as education, skills, and employability.

Employ GM

Employ GM helps Greater Manchester residents find local jobs, search for courses, and access support for their employment journey.

Employment Legal Advice

Employment Legal Advice is a joint venture by the Growth Company, Citizens Advice Manchester, Citizens Advice Bolton, Citizens Advice Salford, and a network of local legal partners. It aims to help people across Greater Manchester to access free and timely employment-related support provided by experts in the field.

Finance, Benefits and Debt Service (FBD)

A Ministry of Justice contract – commissioned by HM Prison and Probation Service and delivered by the Growth Company – the Finance, Benefit, and Debt service aims to support people in eight prisons across Yorkshire and the Humber with a range of financial issues.

In-Prison Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)

IAG provides helps people in prison to take steps towards employment. It also offers resettlement support as people approach release and reintegration into the community.

Intensive Personalised Employment Support

The Intensive, Personalised Employment Support (IPES) programme provides bespoke support to people with disabilites, focusing on moving them into sustained employment.

 

Our Pass

Our Pass offers eligible 16–18-year-olds free bus travel on all local bus services across Greater Manchester, making it easier to access education, work, training, culture and leisure in the city-region. Our Pass also provides access to a range of exclusive offers, discounts, and experiences.

Personal Wellbeing Services

GC's Personal Wellbeing Services work with people on probation to build resilience, confidence, and positive self-image. The programme is delivered in community venues across the Northwest and Yorkshire and the Humber, with the option to participate online if preferred and appropriate.

Recovery Works

Recovery Works supports some of the most vulnerable people in our society, as they recover from addiction and take steps towards a life away from substance abuse.

Salford Employment Hub

Salford Employment Hub offers a brokered bespoke 'one stop' offer on behalf of Salford City Council's Employer Engagement Partnership, in order to connect local people and businesses to opportunities in Salford.

Refugee Employability Programme

The Refugee Employability Programme provides tailored support to refugees who are looking to gain meaningful employment and to help them settle into life across Yorkshire and the Humber.

United For Ukraine

United for Ukraine is a coalition of business stakeholders from across the North of England supporting Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK. The initiative is focused on a digital platform, created by the Growth Company, which connects employers with evacuees.

Working Well: Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care

WW:IPSPC aims to help adults with physical and/or mental health disabilities into – or back into – sustained employment through the “place, train, and maintain” model.

Working Well: Pioneer

Working Well: Pioneer offers personalised Employment Support to help you into sustained work through upskilling and training, with continued support once you’re in-work. People can receive up to 15 months support plus optional in-work support for 6 months.

 

Working Well: Support to Succeed

We help people to overcome barriers which may prevent them from gaining work or pursuing their ambitions. Working Well: Support to Succeed will help boost confidence and support people in achieving their goals through a wide range of activities and workshops.

 

Working Well: Work and Health Programme

Working Well: Work and Health Programme provides support for unemployed people with health conditions or disabilities. It is also designed to help those individuals who have been out of work for a long time as well as those who might need some specialist support.
