Doncaster Restart team volunteer at the River Don

Following on from their 2 days volunteering at Hexthorpe Park in May removing Himalayan balsam, the Doncaster Restart team have completed another volunteer session down at the River Don.

The team worked hard picking up litter, and over the course of a day managed to collect 15 full black bin bags full of rubbish, an old, rusted bike and several bags of cement (all pictured above) – this is an excellent contribution made towards making the riverside rubbish free.
