Get Involved in the Working Well: Support to Succeed Big Food Drop
- Tuesday, April 16, 2024
In 2022/23, food banks in the UK had nearly 3 million users. This figure represents a 50 percent increase on five years ago, with the North West having the third highest food bank usage in the UK (source: The Trussell Trust).
Due to the increase in food bank usage, the Working Well: Support to Succeed team are coordinating a food drop to collect and distribute food to those who need it most. Donations will be distributed across various locations in Manchester.
We encourage you to bring in anything that you can to support those in need.
What: please bring in any non-perishable food, canned food, dry pantry items, or toiletries to donate. Specific items food banks have requested are:
When: Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April
Where: Items can be dropped off in the box in the reception area at Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, M1 5JW
