- Friday, March 14, 2025
Managers from the Growth Company's employment support teams held a celebratory lunch on Friday 14th March to recognise the GC finalists of the national Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) Awards 2024, which took place in December in London.
Now in their 12th year, these awards recognise outstanding achievements and innovation across the employability sector, and, in total, the Growth Company had an amazing six finalists at the awards, including a national winner – Tanina Sheath in the ‘Frontline Manager’ category.
Tanina was nominated by her manager, Rochelle Seddon, for the passionate support she has provided over the past 21 years in the welfare-to-work sector, supporting a wide range of individuals facing adversity. In her nomination, Rochelle explained how Tanina draws on her extensive experience to make sure that others do not face the same struggles she has encountered.
Our other nominations to make the final shortlist were:
Frontline Advisor: Carrie Abraham, Employer & Partnership Coordinator, Salford Health Work
Community Outreach: Working Well: Support to Succeed
Tailored Employment Support: United for Ukraine
Health Solutions for Work: Working Well: Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care
Driving Compliance, Quality and Performance: Cameron Jones, Compliance Manager
Michelle Leeson, Managing Director for GC Employment, said: "We are delighted to see GC Employment have so many finalists in these national awards, which demonstrates the calibre, quality and importance of the work being carried out by our colleagues, and the standards we are consistently achieving. For Tanina to be the national winner of the ‘Frontline Manager’ award is simply amazing and we are so proud of her! Well done everyone; such brilliant work!"
