The Growth Company Expands its Employment Support into Nottinghamshire

• Commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the Restart Scheme provides up to 12 months of enhanced employment support to people who are long-term unemployed. 
• The Growth Company has begun delivering the Restart Scheme in Mansfield, Worksop, and Newark on behalf of Maximus, the prime provider in Nottinghamshire. 
• The contract builds on the Growth Company’s work across the north of England, which supports around 50,000 people each year. 

Residents in Nottinghamshire can access tailored support to help them overcome barriers to employment, develop new skills, and find a job.  

The Growth Company, an award-winning social enterprise, delivers the Restart Scheme on behalf of Maximus, in Mansfield, Worksop, and Newark. The scheme, commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), provides up to 12 months of enhanced employment support to people who are long-term unemployed.

Our Nottinghamshire team brings together years of insight and expertise in helping people overcome their barriers to work, so we’re confident we can have a positive impact on local people and the community." 

Throughout September and October, the team in Nottinghamshire will host partner networking events in Mansfield, Worksop and Newark, to engage with local organisations and develop connections within the community. Find out more and register to attend.
