Naomi Ilagoswa

Naomi is the Growth Company’s Director of Strategic Partnerships & External Projects and has worked in the employment support sector for nearly 15 years.

Naomi is currently in charge of integration and stakeholder engagement for a wide range of employment, health, and justice programmes across the North of England. She also manages specialised projects and pilot schemes such as the Employment Legal Advice Service, United For Ukraine, and EmployGM. Her work on these initiatives has helped to support more than 50,000 people, many of whom are in hard-to-reach communities and face multiple barriers to employment.

What’s more, Naomi has been a force for positive change within the Growth Company. As part of her role as co-chair of the Parents and EDI Network, she has enhanced the lives of colleagues through improvements to existing family-friendly policies and the development of new ones.

Marianna Vaszilyiv

Marianna is a lead key worker for the Growth Company, providing information, advice, and guidance on employment and employability to Ukrainian refugees in the Ukrainian language.

Marianna played a crucial role in founding the award-winning United For Ukraine initiative, which has supported more than 5,000 people since it was launched in April 2022.

Her devotion and hard work earned Marianna recognition as a Northern Gamechanger in 2023. She also won a Special Recognition Award at the Northern Power Women Awards in 2022.

Marianna was nominated by a United For Ukraine service user for her outstanding work in improving the lives of its customers.
