  • The Growth Company (GC) will deliver the Refugee Employability programme across Yorkshire and the Humber.
  • The programme will help refugees into work, providing comprehensive support and training.

The Growth Company has won the contract to deliver the Home Office Refugee Employability Programme across Yorkshire and the Humber. 

The programme will support refugees into sustained employment by providing individually tailored employability sessions, English language tuition, and help with job applications and access to vocational training. 

The programme will also support refugees with community integration which may include accessing services such as GPs, job centres, transport, or signposting to community groups and mental health services, with a focus on providing locally informed advice to best support refugees to settle and thrive. 

Michelle Leeson, Managing Director of GC Employment, said: “The Growth Company is an award-winning social enterprise, with a strong track record of providing employability support to a range of communities and groups across the North of England.
