The Growth Company's Employment Work in Yorkshire

It's Yorkshire Day – a yearly celebration of the UK's largest county.

To mark the occasion, we've put together a list of some of the work that we do across the region to help people improve their skills, boost their wellbeing, and find work:

• Supporting refugees in Yorkshire and Humber to move into sustained employment through the Refugee Employability Programme (REP).
• Helping people to overcome barriers to employment through the Restart Scheme.
• Assisting people in eight prisons across Yorkshire and Humber, including through the Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) service to support people to improve their financial literacy and help reduce reoffending.
• Delivering the Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution programme, building on our work in justice service, to support people in prisons and on probation with social reintegration, improve their wellbeing and reducing reoffending.
• Aiding Ukrainian refugees in the UK through the United For Ukraine initiative.
